Pennswood Village Hosts Souls Shot Portrait Project Lecture
Pennswood Village, in Newtown, PA invited Laura Madeleine, founder of Souls Shot Portrait Project, to give a slide show and lecture for their residents in early June. The hour-long program featured a slide show illustrating the history and workings of the project followed by images of many of the portraits that have been on view during the 9 years the project has been in existence. The lecture was followed by a spirited question and answer period. We are grateful for the supportive audience and we look forward to installing one of our exhibitions in one of their beautiful gallery spaces in the future.
One of the portraits featured in the slide lecture was this interactive sculpture by Tim Barton. It is a portrait of Shelton Hayes. Every aspect of this piece represents a part of Shelton’s life or his family.
