In speaking with Khron’s family, I learned that he was a man of many talents, and he wasn’t afraid of challenges. He was good at building things, construction, and laying concrete as a masonry unit. He loved to garden, growing herbs to use in his cooking. He made homemade bread and was in the process of opening a café where he wanted to serve Jamaican food. He was all about being in business for himself. Since Khron was very proud of his Jamaican heritage, I chose to paint his portrait with a background of the colors of Jamaica.
Khron took pride in being a father, and he loved his family. He would take kids on nature hikes and fishing experiences. He was also a very loyal friend.

Khron was a soul full of light, curiosity, and love. Loyal at heart, he lived with a deep appreciation for the natural world and the blessings that come from the earth. He was a reader, always eager to learn, and naturally curious about how things worked. His ability to think outside the box and see life from unique perspectives was one of his many gifts.

He had a caring and kind spirit, one that loved to laugh and find happiness in the company of his family. Proud of his Jamaican heritage, he embraced his culture and carried it with honor and love.

Among his greatest joys was fatherhood, a role he cherished and lived fully. His devotion to his family, his laughter, and his curiosity will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
